Quality Control Technician 2023

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Use various measuring instruments to evaluate product for acceptance to drawings and company standards
  • Assist on the CMM to measure engineering samples
  • Assist in evaluation of welds – visually, penetrant testing, cross sectioning
  • Set and follow priorities driven by production and dates
  • Communicate and cooperate with others in Quality, Purchasing and Production
  • Take initiative to address gaps
  • Identify and potentially resolve problems with measurements.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate's degree [Electro] Mechanical or equivalent from two-year College or Technical school
  • Relevant experience in incoming inspection including but not limited to blueprint reading, familiarity with welds
    and use of hand gauges.
  • Comfortable using EXCEL and MRP software
  • Experience with hand gages (micrometers, calipers, height stand, etc)
  • Great communication skills (listening, expressing yourself, writing)
  • Able to read engineering drawings
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
