Portfolio Manager

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Research and analyze competitor strategies and industry forces/trends.  Develop and implement strategic plans for growing sales of assigned product portfolio in existing and new market segments. 

Evaluate long-term potential and risk of new channel partnerships. 

Identify, select and personally manage key corporate accounts.

Work with Sales Management to identify resources to target new customers and develop those resources as needed. 

Teach sellers how to identify new target contacts in their existing accounts, create/deliver compelling value stories, and manage incremental business.  This should involve both classroom activities and developmental sales calls.

Team with Marketing Manager to develop plans and programs for assigned market consistent with market demands and long-term profitability.

Recommend market based product positioning and pricing strategies to produce the highest volume.

Gather strategic data on current and new product concepts and provide feedback for future product development.

Accounts are managed in accordance with established company policies and procedures through regular use of the customer relationship management (CRM) system, TopVis.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related;

AND 5 - 10 years of experience;

OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must be willing to travel approximately 40%.
